UI DESIGNER
Made for our University's "Mobile & VR Game Development" module, I worked with a group of 6 to make a functional User Interface inside a VR space. This involved creating a User Interface Design Notebook, designing buttons in an external program and testing live with a VR headset in Unreal Engine.
FIRE EMBLEM ENGAGE - USER INTERFACE REDESIGN
Made for our University's "User Interface Design" course, I redesigned the User Interface of Fire Emblem Engage's UI under the guise of accessibility and reducing the amount of assumptions the player is required to make to navigate the UI, as well as creating a report justifying the changes I have made within the UI. I made this within Adobe XD, and developed a working prototype compatible with controllers, to fit the target console.

SOLO DEV
Made for the GMTK Game Jam 2023, I created a 3D Platformer around the concept of "Role Reversal" that you played as the items trying to find the player over the player trying to find items. This involved new movement options for each of the two levels, such as having to fling yourself around the Kitchen as the Keys, or navigate a dark, flooded bathroom as a phone with a torch light.

Menu Designer
A project made for the NI Student Game Jam 22 with a group of friends over the span of three days. I made the Main Menu, Pause Menu and Win Screen interfaces.

This was a 2D platformer made around the theme of "Lift", where the character with limited movement would have to "Lift" themselves off the ground with a Jetpack to catch a "Lift".

UI DESIGNER & PIXEL ARTIST
A project made for the 2023 Global Game Jam, me and a group of friends were welcomed to spend the weekend over at Hypixel's office in Derry/Londonderry to gain advice from industry as we worked on our game around the theme of roots.

As well as designing the User Interface, I did the Pixel Art for this game, as our group decided to go for an "Atari" style for this game to go with the Game Jam's theme of "Roots" in going back to the roots of gaming.

GAME DESIGNER/PROGRAMMER/UI DESIGNER
A 3D Platformer made for the Game Maker's Toolkit Game Jam 2022, I did this on my own over the span of three days around the theme of "The Dice" in attempting to represent the protagonist's gambling addiction.

This platformer involved a menu screen and collectables for the player to find throughout the level, though is quite tricky.

BATTLE OF THE BANDS
GAME DESIGNER/PROGRAMMER/UI DESIGNER
A rhythm top down shooter originally made for a two part module of "Game Design" and "Gameplay Prototyping", where I have since began to redesign some of the User Interface using Photoshop.
​
The "Game Design" part of the module involved us creating a Game Design document and production timetable with continuous feedback with our lecturers in regards to scope and mechanics.
​
Meanwhile, the "Gameplay Prototyping" module involved us making this into an actual game within Unreal Engine.
